A Musician’s First Experience at The NAMM Show

This was my first time experience as a musician at The annual 2019 NAMM Show Anaheim California. Like a kid in a candy store my Senses on high I arrived honestly not knowing what to expect. We opened the entrance doors and were enveloped into a world of musical mayhem. Every conceivable piece  of musical gear and instrument from all over the world. All in one place.  A feast for the senses. Each corner I turned the experience became surreal all of the sights and sounds of the music business laid out in a maze of row upon row of musical eye candy Everything I had  heard was coming true right before my eyes. From the exhibit halls to the many educational lectures of the what’s, who’s, and how’s, to structure your music business for certain success.

Being a drummer , singer / songwriter I immersed myself into a plethora of new gear and technology that would leave me breathless and wanting more. Pro audio , DJ sound , lighting , drums , guitars , a full on onslaught of all types of accessories for the pro players and weekend warriors to search for their signature sound. I absolutely recommend the exodus to any musician from anywhere to allow themselves the experience of this well managed musical circus of events. My mind was blown and I plan on returning again and again. The trip from the east coast has impacted me in ways that have inspired me to continue my involvement in what I do musically for years to come. Did I mention the feeling of brotherhood and support I felt the whole time I was in the Emerald City!

Come on my east coast musician brothers! Let’s all remember it’s about our serving the music and the gifts that have been bestowed upon us.
