If you like metalcore, melodic death metal and heavy metal with a mixture of singing, screaming and growling then you are in the right place. Tonight we are once again at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City to be entertained by Escape The Fate, Atilla and All That Remains.
The evening started out with Blackthorne Elite, a local band from Enid, Oklahoma and a Minneapolis hard rock band named Sleep Signals. Both bands did a great job getting the crowd heated up for what was to come this evening.
The next band Escape the fate came on stage to continue the evening’s entertainment. Escape the fate is an American rock band from Las Vegas (originally from Pahrump) Nevada which started out in 2004 and their band members are Robert Ortiz, Craig Mabbitt, Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft and last but not least TJ Bell. In their career the band has released six studio albums, 21 singles and 3 Eps. The newest album which was released March 30th 2018 is called I Am Human and tonight the band performed the songs “Do You Love Me”, “Digging My Own Grave”, “Empire” and “Broken Heart” off of it. The band put on a great show with a high energy level and they kept it up thru the entire evening. A mosh pit formed and people went wild and if you were in the crowd it was hard not to join the pit activities. They ended their show with “One for the Money” from their 2013 release ungrateful, which actually had the whole crowd singing along. It was the perfect song choice to end their set.
Set list:
- Do You Love Me
- This War Is Ours
- Ungrateful
- Digging My Own Grave
- Empire
- Just A Memory
- Gorgeous Nightmare
- Broken Heart
- One For The Money

Now it was time for Attila to take the stage. One thing about this band is the fact that they are an unsigned independent band. They don’t have a record label helping to finance their tour, so make sure you go and see them if they are in your area and help support them. The band is from Atlanta Georgia and was formed in 2005. They have released eight full albums in which the album About That Life was their most successful which was released in 2013. The album hit number 22 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their newest Album was released February 2019 and it is called Villain. The Band members are Chris Fronzak – vocalist, Chris Linck – guitar, Kalan Blehm – bass and Bryan McClure – drums. Throughout their performance the band brought the energy in the room to a whole new level. Smoke went off while Chris showed off his growling and the mosh pit grew bigger and bigger while the crowd went into a frenzy. This place was about to explode. The atmosphere was insane and you couldn’t help but party along with everyone and just get into the show. It was a whole new level of fun tonight and people around me soaked up every bit of it.

The final performance for tonight was All That Remains, an American heavy metal band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1998. Besides selling over a million Albums the band also has released over nine albums, one of them being a live CD and also released a DVD. The Band members are Philip Labonte – vocalist, Mike Martin – guitar, Jason Costa – drummer, Aaron Patrick – bass and Jason Richardson – guitar. Everybody was already pumped up from the previous bands performances and nobody in the audience even thought about going home or for the party to end. Well the band didn’t think so either. They came out and started with full blown energy, smoke and lots of growling. What I personally love about the band is that Philip cannot just scream and growl but he also has a very beautiful voice which he proved this evening over and over again. The band played some of their top ten hits like “Six”, “Two Weeks” and “What If I Was Nothing”. You got it all from the chest-bursting drums to the softer side of All That Remains and not to forget the crunchy guitar riffs. It was an evening filled with rock and the mosh pit never stopped. This evening of entertainment was a full on success and everybody left talking about the fun they had.

1) Fuck Love
2) Blood I Spill
3) Last Time
4) Hold On
5) Chiron
6) No Knock
