Today is Valentine’s Day and I am getting to go interview and review Arielle at the House of Blues in Dallas Texas. I have been to the House of Blues in San Diego many times but I never had the chance to go to the one in Dallas, so I am excited to get the opportunity to check out Dallas Texas House Of Blues.
After meeting Arielle I realized that besides being very talented she was also very funny and interesting to talk too. In the short time we spent together, during our interview, I had so much fun listening to her tell her story. She is originally from Austin Texas and she is known as one of the greatest female guitar players in the State. She definitely was happy and excited to be back in her home State. One of the things that make her so unique is that she is not only an incredible song writer and performer but she also builds guitars. She has one very unique guitar which was her first one she built and named it Two Tone because it had two tone knobs. You can tell by just looking at Two Tone that this guitar has been played a whole lot, but like a lot of people say, the old and used things are the best. Besides Two Tone, Arielle has several other guitars she likes to perform with and just like Two Tone all of her guitars have names. You can really tell that all of her guitars have history and they are not just guitars to her. Arielle has a lot of history and memories with each and every single one of them.
When Arielle started performing she instantly pulled me in. Her Voice is so unique and she can sing soft like a feather but also powerful and with a lot of energy. It was not difficult for her to get the crowd focused on her when she opened the show. Arielle performed songs from her new EP “Mind Lion” which was released on February 9th. She rocked the guitar but then surprised everybody in the audience when she stepped over to the piano and began performing a beautiful piece. The talent in this young woman didn’t go unnoticed. The crowd absolutely loved her and Eric Johnson couldn’t have chosen a better person as an opening act.
Make sure you check out the interview with Arielle and if you get the chance to see her Live, do so. She is truly amazing in a live environment; but if you can’t see her live, pick up some of her music and take a listen. I promise you will not be disappointed.
