Prolific guitarist Tom ‘The Suit’ Forst and Beyond 1969 drop their exciting video “Comin’ Back To The Blues” on March 1, a musical prequel to the group’s upcoming live in-studio, all-original album, Back To The Blues (Release Date: April 25, 2026).
Beyond 1969 was created to celebrate the best music of the iconic years of the hippie generation. The band has revisited and re- imagined the best songs of the era. Keeping true to the Woodstock years, Beyond 1969 also writes, records and performs original material.
The group’s next, highly-awaited album arrives in 2026. Titled Back To The Blues, recorded at Connecticut’s #1 award-winning studio, Horizon Studios, under the watchful eye of owner/producer, Vic Steffens.
TOM FORST (The Suit) – GUITAR AND LEAD VOCALS
Tom Forst is a renowned blues/rock guitarist and Hall of Fame recording artist known for his soulful sounds and electrifying performances. A finalist in the King Of The Blues contest and Blues Society awards, Tom has in the past also judged the prestigious yearly International Blues Challenge in Memphis. ‘The Suit’ has been
featured in top music publications like Forbes, Guitar Player, Vintage Guitar, and Elmore Magazine; and has performed with musicians ranging from Better Than Ezra, The Stephen Colbert Show Band, Roy Buchanan, Jose Feliciano, Joe Cocker, Robert Palmer, The Saturday Night Live Band, and The Dickey Betts Band; and has shared the stage with legendary acts like 3 Dog Night, Styx, and Marshall Tucker Band. TONY DELISIO – BASS AND LEAD VOCALS
Tony has been a working veteran of the Connecticut and New England music scene for over fifty years as a bass player, lead vocalist and session musician with several album credits. Currently Tony has also been holding down the bass chair for Connecticut’s own Mighty Soul Drivers, whose recent CD remained #1 for 16 straight weeks on the influential Roots Music Chart. Previous bands that Tony has played with include The George T Gregory band, former sax player with the legendary James Cotton Blues Band. He’s also shared the stage with Lee Oskar, harmonica great from the legendary band War! Tony has opened for bands such as Mountain, The Edgar Winter Group, The Rhinestones, Orleans and The Guess Who! Musical influences include, New Orleans R&B, East Bay Area Funk and Chicago Blues.
BRYAN CAUDLE – DRUMS
Bryan Caudle has been playing drums since he was nine years old and started playing professionally at age fifteen. He studied drums with several teachers including James Clark and Gene Bozzi, and studied Music Theory at the prestigious Hartford Camerata Conservatory. Bryan has performed with a diverse array of name bands ranging from rock, pop, jazz, blues, country, world music, classical, and even marching bands. He has toured several countries and has shared the stage with many world-class musicians.
JEFF BOUSFIELD – KEYBOARDS
A lifelong resident of Conneticut, Jeff began classical piano lessons at age seven. After switching to contemporary music as a teenager, he began playing rock and blues in Hartford area music venues at the age of seventeen. After high school, Bousfeld attended the Hartford Conservatory of Music as a jazz and pop music performance major. Over the past forty years, Jeff has played in many top jazz, blues and rock bands performing at regional music venues, festivals and casinos. Musical influences include: Chick Corea, Jan Hammer, Elton John, Chuck Leavell, and Dave Brubeck).
