BILLY CURRINGTON HEADLINES BOOTS AND BREWS

WHAT: CBF Productions is proud to present the Legendary Boots & Brews Country Music Festival, returning to Ventura, bigger and better than ever, with a brand new location: beautiful San Buenaventura State Beach Park, just minutes from Downtown Ventura. This family-friendly affair features a full day of the very best in delicious food vendors, refreshing craft beer and, of course, dance-worthy country music.

WHOThis year’s lineup features artists with a combined twenty Number One hits, fifteen Awards, and twenty Awards Nominations: country super stars Billy Currington, Easton Corbin, David Nail, and rising star, Niko Moon. Billy Currington has come a long way from working construction and living in a tiny attic apartment during his early days in Nashville. In the decade since he made his debut with the top ten hit “Walk a Little Straighter,” the Georgia native has parlayed his rich, emotion-laden tenor and unerring song sense into some of the country format’s most memorable hits, including such No. 1s as “Good Directions,” “Must Be Doin’ Something Right” and “People Are Crazy.” Currington’s songs have always been snapshots of life. His music is steeped in truth and possesses a relatability that makes his audience feel like they could drink a beer or catch a few fish with the curly-haired country boy. Currington has that heartfelt every-man quality that lends emotional weight to whatever he’s singing whether it’s a tender ballad or a rollicking party anthem. He demonstrates his ability to render both those scenarios and all points between on his fifth studio album, We Are TonightEaston Corbin, who boasts two Number 1 singles, seven Top Ten singles, multiple awards and nominations, and performances on some of the biggest stages in the world including Carrie Underwood’s Storyteller Tour, continues to make a lasting impression and leave his footprint on country music. The Florida native has been lauded for his unapologetic and unwavering traditional country music sound, authentic lyrics, and mastery of understatement.  David Nail, who has spent a decade leaving his unique mark on modern country music. His most recent album, 2018’s Only This and Nothing More, is inspired not only by his country roots, but also the guitar-heavy stomp of Oasis, the reverb-heavy wash of Ryan Adams, the rhythmic punch of the Black Keys, and the anthemic swell of Kings of Leon, He’s a country crooner one moment, an indie rocker the next, and a diversely compelling front-man throughout; Niko Moon is fresh on the country scene and Is turing heads with his original country sound and great song lyrics. His breakout new singles are “Drunk Over You” and “Good Time.” Daniel Bonte, who performs with his band The Bona Fide, is a dynamic entertainer and songwriter widely known in the California Country music scene for his powerful vocals and electric live show whose unique voice is steeped in blues, rock, and soul with a style reminiscent of fellow Hoosier, John Mellencamp.
