Surf, sun, and now incredible music complete the line-up for the inaugural Surf Ranch Pro presented by Hurley. The World Surf League (WSL) announces that blink-182 will perform Saturday evening, September 8, at Surf Ranch in Lemoore, Calif., during Stop No. 8 on the WSL Championship Tour (CT), which runs September 6 – 9.

Born in San Diego, blink-182 quickly became a huge favorite of surf fans. The group has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and become one of the defining rock bands of their generation, playing for sold-out audiences from Adelaide to Zurich, and now for the first time, in front of the most perfect man-made wave on the planet, as the headlining act for the Surf Ranch Pro.

“We have played a lot of cool interesting places but nothing quite like this,” said blink-182. “We look forward to playing for the best of the surf community in such an epic location.”

The surf competition and festival schedule includes:

Friday:

  • Surfing: Check out the intense qualifying action all day as the top 36 men and 18 women battle it out on the waves
  • Sunset Longboard Exhibition: Enjoy the beauty of the talented Longboarders on display
  • Festival: Throughout the weekend, fans can line the wall for front-row surfing views, park themselves in the shade in the VIP or general admission viewing decks, or cool off in the lake and watch the action on the big screen. All weekend long there will be DJs spinning tunes, athlete signings and selfies, stand up paddleboards to take for a spin, a Carver wave bank to skate, beach games, and plenty of food and drink vendors throughout.

Saturday

  • Surfing: Qualifying heats up as elimination begins to determine the final eight men and four women
  • Sunset Air Exhibition: Check out the best aerial action from big air surfers Albee Layer, Chippa Wilson, and two CT air specialists putting on a show.
  • Festival: In addition to Friday’s festival action, blink-182 takes the stage after the day’s surfing action wraps up.

Sunday

  • Surfing takes center stage as the best in the world battle it out on Finals Day
  • Festival fun continues throughout the Finals action

Ticket Packages

Full event general admission packages (Friday – Sunday) start at $199 for adults. Daily passes are $99each. VIP passes are also available at $499 for the full event. Please note fans must either purchase a VIP pass, a general admission Saturday pass or general admission full event pass to access the blink-182 concert. There are no concert-only tickets available. For current ticket holders (VIP, GA Full Event or GA Saturday), there is no additional charge to attend the concert.
