Tab Benoit is no stranger to the Belly Up in Solana Beach, but this is the first time I’ve had the pleasure to see him perform. He actually played drums (his first love) in support of the opening act, Eric Johanson, who recently signed to Tab’s newly launched record label, Whiskey Bayou Records. Eric was […]
Opening the show was British rock icon Liam Gallagher. Although better known as the former front man of the band “Oasis”. Dressed in his signature black trench and dark shades, Liam started his set with the Oasis hit “Rock ‘N’ Roll Star”. The remainder of the short 7 song set was performed in what most […]
I was excited to see another great show at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City. Tonight was the night for “Blackberry Smoke”; a band from Atlanta, Georgia formed in 2004. So far the band has released six records and built up a strong fan base which showed up tonight at the Diamond Ballroom for an […]

It was early evening on a Tuesday and I headed out with one of our photographers to the Cal Coast Open Air Theater over at SDSU to see Godsmack. I had never been to this venue and was excited, as I am someone who loves checking out new places to see a show. This amphitheater […]
Tonight was a special night at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City. We were taken back in time by Sebastian Bach and his 30th Anniversary Tour performing the first record “Skid Row” in its entirety. We all know the Canadian singer-songwriter as the front man of Skid Row from 1987 till 1996 when he made […]
Dear John, Just let me start by saying you are so LOVED. Just your mere presence inspires everyone around you, but when you pick up your guitar and play, magic happens. This is probably the only Dear John letter I will ever write and it’s not what you think. I saw you a few years […]
