Fresh home from the largest deployment in company history at the Electric Forest Festival in Michigan, Twin Cities-based EPG Security will head to Eau Claire, Wis., for the last two weekends of July for two of the Midwest’s hottest music festivals of summer 2015: July 17-18, 115 agents will go to Eaux Claires, the much-anticipated festival being launched by Eau Claire native Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and Aaron Dessner of the National. July 23-25, 50 agents will go to Country Jam, back for its 26th year as one of the nation’s top country music festivals and bringing EPG Security on board this year. At the same time, another 50 agents will head to the Lakefront Music Fest in Prior Lake, Minn., July 17-18.
“Our special events division is exploding this summer,” said Erik Bergling, founder and CEO of EPG Security Group. “We’ve just had 214 agents at Electric Forest in Michigan, and now we’re about to roll out our work for Eaux Claires, an amazing new festival we are proud to be part of.”
“We picked EPG Security for our event first based on their wide range of clients and second on their approach to security. Festival security is a difficult world that takes an independently owned company to analyze and master,” said Eaux Claires operations director Michael Snow (http://eauxclaires.com/). “The average consumer has more face time with security personnel over the course of the event than any other department aside from the artists they watch perform. EPG understands from their range of duties that every concert event is NOT the same and you have to create a method for each event with each position being a bit different in attitude towards the consumer. Erik understands that his people are there to enhance the experience while protecting the attendee along the way. We are excited to launch our partnership at our first Eaux Claires festival.”
