Fred Hostetler's 'Acoustic Blues Concert' - At The Machine Shop, Celebrating Release of 'Fortuna Redux'

Langley resident, well-traveled and respected musician Fred Hostetler, celebrates the release of his new album “Fortuna Redux” with an Acoustic Blues Concert at The Machine Shop, 630 Second St., Friday, November 5. Performing with Hostetler (guitars-vocals) that evening are Keegan Harshman (bass) and Mickey Grimm (percussiuon). Hostetler is back in the US after spending seventeen years in India. “”Fortuna Redux” is a compilation of his previously-released singles which have either been remixed with additional recording, or given a fresh arrangement. The exception is a new original song and the album’s title track, ‘Lady Luck Fortuna Redux.’

Besides his music, Hostetler is active in the Langley community, volunteering to perform for Senior Services program. ‘Time Together’ and also performing at a Fundraiser for THNC Affordable Housing. Fred has also volunteered to assist in live music concerts at St. Augustine’s in the Woods (in) Freeland.

Fortuna Redux is Fred’s third full-length release since moving to Whidbey Island.
