Recent Hall of Fame inductees Hall & Oates played at the second annual KAABOO Festival and did not disappoint. The crowd went nuts as soon as they hit the stage with the opening song “MANEATER” and the crowd was into it big time. The moment that song was finished they went right into “Your Kiss”, and continued with “Out of Touch” and “You Make My Dreams.” Most of the bands die hard fans were singing along but a lot of the younger fans that may not have been familiar with the band were also digging the band music as well.

This Multi-Platinum Band put us all on notice that they aren’t done yet. After a great set of their biggest hits they left the stage to a standing ovation. When they finally came back out they finished the night with a few more of my favorites, “Private Eyes” and “Sara.”

This duo has the distinction of being the all-time selling duo in the history of the music industry. They have received the icon Award from BMI in 2008 as well as the multiple Grammy Awards and most recently, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

No matter how many times i have seen this band perform live it never ceases to amaze me just how great they are. They are the true meaning of Blue Eyed Soul and the Philly Sound. I hope all of you aspiring songwriters all pay attention. These Cats are true Icons.
