I’m surrounded by rock royalty. A goldmine of who’s who in the Metal world of music. From the trailblazers to the newest stargazers. For openers, there was a free screening of a new documentary, Band versus Brand. A thorough in depth look at what it took and takes to make a band reach success in what was an all hands on deck approach to a full media blitz to reach the world.

Eddie Trunk, That Metal Show hosts introduces the Band Budderside to open music performances for the evenings event. Heavy guitar riffs, high energy melodies, Soaring vocals, opening the gates with fire !
Following by the first award Eddie gives to long time friend drummer, Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater. Next up bass player of Megadeath Altiitude and attitudes David Ellefson. Next award to KLOS Radio 94.5,
Hard rock and Metal station. Award presented next to Metal band Testament. Inductee Lita Ford presented by Doro Pesch, Vocalists of Warlock. Kodiak next to perform their set. Managed by Carmine Appice. A heavy dose of Metal with a side order of rock and roll attitude! Check these guys out. Next up presenter bassist Rudy Sarso, To Jeff Scott Soto of the bands Soto, Sons of Apollo and Yngwie Malmsteen, Next inducted: John and Marsha Zazula, owners of Megaforce Records. Silken bassist – The End Machine , Foreigner Jeff Pilsen. Anthrax bass guitarist Frank Bellow. Talks of a tight knit community.
Next up was a performance by Jean Beauvoir / Plasmatics. Band smoking Jeans blazing vocals ass kicking .
Whoa ! Up all night song that Jean co wrote with Kiss. British heavy Metal band Saxon accepting on behalf Drummer Nigel Glockler. Presenter guitarist John Sykes accepts award for Bassist Bob Daisley
Max Norman producer presented by Jean Beauvoir. Pat Jesawaldo presents lee Kerslake. Ozzy drummer, also receives gold albums he played on with Ozzy from Ozzy and Sharon. Note from Ozzy thanking him for his contributions to that era and well wishes for his health .
To end the Metal Mania for the night Rudy Sarzo & The Appice Bros Rock it out for a set.
