I Prevail – Perfect Balance

Tonight I Prevail is performing at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City. The house is full and the crowd is ready to see this amazing band from Southfield, Michigan. I Prevail is an American Metalcore band which was established in 2013. The band got popular when they posted a video with a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” to YouTube in 2014.

I prevail is a band you can easily fall in love with. They create a deep connection with their fans through their songs by putting their struggles, heart and soul into the music. The audience can hear, see and feel it and a lot of people can very well relate to it. This is just one of the facts that make this band so great and special. Another fact I absolutely love about this band is that none of their songs sounds the same. They have the perfect balance between singing the vocals, rapping and screaming and the instrumentation with the electric parts in some of their songs are just spot on perfect. In some areas the band reminds me of Linkin Park and Hollywood Undead by the style of their music. The band is very easy to listen to and before you know it you are getting pulled in to it and just want to hear more and more of their songs.

The audience tonight was great and the house was filled with energy going wild. We had the mosh pit going and of course the body surfing was part of the evening too. The band performed most of their songs off their new Album Trauma, released March 2019. If you have not listened to it yet go and find it. I promise you will absolutely love it. I myself had to go to iTunes and download it.

Judging by the reaction of the audience, as well as the performance itself, I guess one could say that …. they prevailed!!!
