Today, Insomniac announced the second edition of the New Year’s Eve event, Countdown and brand new production details for the spectacular show. The dance music celebration will return to the NOS Events Center on December 31(st ) and expand from a one-stage production to three impressive stage designs with performances from the world’s top dance music artists.
Celebrating the New Year in true Insomniac fashion, Countdown will deliver confetti showers, pyrotechnics, elaborate costumes, and extraordinary production elements sure to create the most memorable way to ring in the first hours of 2016.
Countdown is also a place where fans can make their resolutions for the New Year, whether challenging, sentimental or silly. “I will lose weight,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac. “I will lose weight. I will lose weight. I will lose weight in 2016.” Insomniac encourages fans to come with light hearts and open minds for the possibilities 2016 will bring.
Last year’s Countdown featured an all-star lineup of talent performing while the clock struck midnight for 17,000 joyous fans. As attendees danced the night away into the New Year, costumed performers, amazing acrobats and mind blowing LED displays illuminated the stage.
Ticket information and the artist lineup for this 18 and older event will be announced soon.
