2016’s extravaganza will include stimulating performances from internationally known headliners, established favorites you know and love, and emerging artists just waiting to be discovered. KAABOO is proud to announce that the first wave of confirmed performers includes headliner JACK JOHNSON, along with THE AVETT BROTHERS, GOO GOO DOLLS, JASON ISBELL, GAVIN DEGRAW, ANDREW MCMAHON IN THE WILDERNESS and THE GREEN. LAUGHS – Seriously funny.
Due to popular demand, KAABOO is expanding the line-up of comedians performing on the Humor Me comedy club this year. JANEANE GAROFALO – famous for her stint on Saturday Night Live as well as countless other popular TV shows and movies – and RACHEL BLOOM, the star of the hit CW TV show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, are the first two acts to be announced. More comedians will be announced in the upcoming months.
ART – Find beauty wherever you go.
KAABOO ArtworK is curating a unique collection of works from artists all around the globe to showcase at the upcoming event. CARATOES, the first artist to be announced is a young, rising star from China whose unique graffiti murals can be found all over the world. Most recently, CARATOES participated in the Wynwood Exhibition at Art Basel Miami Beach 2015.
EATS – Talk about great taste.
Savor the flavors of KAABOO, in Palate, the upscale culinary environment of the “mix-perience,” where guests can sample local and regional cuisine and small-batch specialties from a variety of carefully selected culinary artisans. Announcements for Palate will be made in upcoming months, including an exciting assortment of celebrity and local chefs from high quality restaurants, wine selections, craft breweries from top markets including San Diego, craft distillers in various categories, mixologists and more.
3-day passes are on-sale now. Additional details will be announced in the coming months, with the full talent line-up set to roll-out in three waves during March, April, and May, 2016.
