“Warrior Woman” Kathryn Cloward, showcases local artists Jennifer Klein, Strawberry Moons with Triton Eye, along with her band, Kathryn Cloward and the Royals for an upbeat evening of “musical movement”.
The Belly Up Tavern is known for supporting great causes and Kathryn is a perfect match to feature local artists who share the same vision of creating a positive impact through music. The focus of Kathryn’s Production Company, Kandon Unlimited, is based on sharing the intention of heart-centered mindful media which is expanded and unlimited. For Kathryn, it’s all about sharing love through the human experience.
By the end of 2019, Kandon Unltd. will have over 140 songs registered with BMI and ASCAP that credits 11 different writers. Kathryn is notably excited to push out all the music she’s been working on, as well as her creative endeavors from her Publishing Company, Kandon Global Publishing, which features children’s media teaching kids lessons of self-empowerment and self-love. With seven books in her affirmation series, Kathryn the Grape and accompanying award-winning CD under her belt, she is overjoyed to soon be releasing seven more books with the addition of a coloring book.
Taking the stage to kick off the show is longtime friend Jennifer Klein. Kathryn stated in a recent interview with Brian Tierney of BackStage360, that she and Jennifer knew each other from business many years ago, are both moms, and have something to say through their musicality. Jennifer signed on to Kandon and is on fire spreading her music to nourish hearts and souls.
Jennifer grabbed my heart from the get-go and set the tone for an inspiring evening. It’s hard to believe this is her first time performing at the Belly Up. As a local artist, this is a dream come true for her! From an early age, Jennifer knew she wanted to be a singer and write music. She taught herself guitar at age 12 but really wanted to focus more on vocals. Her style is pop with a countryish folk vibe. Her new album, “Lean into Joy” is out with another album on the way. She performs regularly at an upscale restaurant bar in North County, San Diego and will be performing June 2 at 5 pm on the Plaza Stage at the San Diego Fair!
We look forward to hearing more of Jennifer Klein at the Belly Up and other premier venues throughout the county and beyond! Please visit Jennifer’s website and follow her on social media and catch her live performances as well as purchase her music! She is a true gem of a woman and touches everyone with her messages of love and joy.
Kathryn Cloward and The Royals kicked it up a notch covering Annie Lennox’s “Sweet Dreams”. She epitomizes “rocker chic” playing guitar, wearing black leather and looking sexier than all get out! The band is known for their pop-rock Americana style and is fun for all ages. They mixed it up with original songs outlaying the message to the world with her song, Heroes. Kathryn is passionate about supporting more research for the disease MPS through the power of her music. The proceeds for every digital download/stream/play of Heroes goes directly to benefit The National MPS Society so be sure to get yours today and spread the word! MPS is a genetic disorder that starts in childhood where a specific protein is not present and the body is unable to break down sugars causing buildup in the cells damaging the body.
With four albums to her credit and the recipient of many awards, there is no sign of Kathryn slowing down. This is just the beginning–the train has left the station and as I always say, “the best is yet to come”! Kathryn is a true inspiration and musical healer with her uplifting, positive, heartfelt original songwriting. She is forging a new industry standard with her record label giving the world much-needed hope with her positive influence.
The rest of the evening was super fun dancing it up with Triton Eye and the originality of Strawberry Moons to fulfill another great evening in Solana Beach at the Belly Up Tavern.
