The law of nature states everything has a vibration. Everything is made of atoms that are constantly in motion, that of course includes sound. Turilli is a master at creating music that offers high vibrational, positive messages. He creates from his soul, combining science with creativity and his love for classical and metal music. His style is both modern and classic, futuristic and vintage sounding. His influences range from Bach and Beethoven to Malmsteen and Friedman. At times, you can hear pirate influences, other times a sense of victory. The music he writes has been described as Cinematic Music or Film Score Music because it sounds like a movie soundtrack. The songs are cryptic and suspenseful. To get the full experience, you’ll want to listen through headphones. This is music that takes you on a journey.

I was fortunate to catch two live shows last month. The first at the Grove in Anaheim and then again in San Diego at Brick by Brick. Both performances were fantastic, the band puts on a great show. They are headed to Canada next and then South America. They have every intention of returning to the states for more shows and will be recording more material. You will definitely being hearing more from them in the meantime check out their latest offering “Prometheus” on Nuclear Blast Records.
The whole band is an incredibly talented and vibe quite well together. Singer Alessandro Conti has a tremendous voice and sings beautifully in both Italian and English. Yes metal music can be beautiful, positive and powerful. Rhapsody is a class act that I look forward to seeing again and again.
