Meagen Wells
Located in the Northern California town of Forestville, Maegan Wells is a young luthier with exquisite talents. Mostly known for custom building arch-topped, acoustic guitars and mandolins, she also designs and creates beautiful instruments by hand for purchase.
Educated through the Masters’ Program at the Galloup School of Guitar Making and Repairs, in Grand Rapids Michigan, Maegan is employed by Luthier’s Mercantile, International in Windsor, California.
Maegan exhibited two of her instruments at this years’ NAMM guitar boutique and she graciously and humbly spoke to us on camera about these exceptional works of art, how and where she obtains her materials and where she gets her inspiration.
