I wish I was out on tour as scheduled with my band rockin’ and rollin’ with you, but we’re all at home as we know… California is way behind the rest of you guys for opening up … so …I’m doing a very special unplugged Facebook live performance from my living room this Tuesday featuring songs of inspiration.
I’m so looking forward to playing you songs that have inspired me over the years … blues music and jazz and eventually so much great rock ‘n’ roll was born out of the African American experience. Modern American music wouldn’t be what it is today without it. I’ll play a few songs that are especially meaningful to me as well as a new song called “April” that’ll come out on my new album. As always… unplugged from my living room… and of course we’ll drink some killer wine together. My husband Eric will make sure of that!  Music 🎵inspires. Music unites us. Wine doesn’t hurt either. We’ll be drinking our own Reserve Tastings Soul Cabernet Sauvignon.

Being a single father to two awesome daughters, and now a co-parent using the “modern family” method… this has been one of the most rewarding and challenging parts of my life. But I can confidently say a generous amount of wine has always helped me through. Trust me… give him wine. It’s what he wants. 🙂
