In the early 1980s, the heated vintage market increasingly pushed guitars and basses out of reach for working musicians. In response, Roger realized that it made sense to build instruments from scratch that incorporated all of the improvements that he had developed over the years. Additionally, his background in acoustic guitar building helped him to build lightweight, acoustically resonant instruments.

Today, Roger leads an experienced team that is dedicated to improving building techniques and finding innovative materials to build the best instruments for his customers.

After many decades of producing some of the world’s most coveted instruments, Roger’s greatest joy continues to be witnessing the complete satisfaction a customer receives when making music with a Sadowsky instrument.

FRIEDMAN

Dave Friedman is the man behind the signature tones of rock icons Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens and Jerry Cantrell. Dave has been building, modding and repairing amplifiers for many of the world’s biggest stars for the past 25 years. Friedman’s innovative designs and meticulous construction have made him legendary in the world of professional touring musicians while earning him a loyal clientele from all over the world. One of Friedman’s mainstays has been modifying amps to each player’s specific tonal palette, and to consult with other established amplifier companies to improve their own designs.

FODERA GUITARS

Fodera Guitars was established in 1983 by Vinny Fodera, a skilled custom guitar builder (luthier) with an eye for creating beautiful instruments, and Joey Lauricella, a professional bass player with practical working experience about what makes good bass guitars.

With his hands-on knowledge of how good bass guitars felt and sounded, Joey’s pro-player perspective was the perfect complement to Vinny’s aesthetic talent at creating custom made electric guitars. Together, they set out on a mission to build distinctive, handmade instruments that played effortlessly and allowed artists to achieve tonal nuances unavailable from any other instrument on the market.
