A new reality show, “The Song”, selected Green Light Morning’s soulful singer and song-writer dad duo, Aaron Patrick and Aaron Bright, as one of the top 15 finalists out of over 7,000 entries nationwide.www.greenlightmorning.com “The Song” aims to showcase the best and most talented artists and songwriters in the country.www.thesongtv.com
Green Light Morning’s “Little More Love” newest home recording was inspired by the recent years’ tragedies of Sandy Hook and Paris shootings. As dedicated dads, both Aarons struggled to explain to their children, who kept seeing endless violence on the news and feared to go to school or public spaces, why something so tragic continues to happen.
“I had to tell my child that monsters are real. I took his hand, hugged him and explained that most people are inherently good. Tragedies like this should never happen and the world needs to come together and learn how to love more,” said Aaron Patrick.

Aaron Patrick’s powerful, poignant voice and acoustic guitar, combined with Aaron Bright’s melodic keys and tight harmonies confronts today’s life events such as mass violence, shootings, identity and aging struggles while delivering to the audience an opportunity for catharsis and hope.
Green Light Morning formed after both Aarons left their previous touring bands, Oval Opus and The Big Creak. Their Southern roots’ church upbringing and passion for fatherhood, sparked their transformational music. Green Light Morning’s Aarons have written hundreds of songs with over 60 placements on TV and humbly shared the stage with national acts like Andy Grammar, Need to Breathe and Eric Hutchinson.
“The Song” from director Michael Braverman of A Smith & Co, responsible for TV hits including Trading Spaces and American Ninja Warrior, features diverse musical talent from all genres. The Aaron’s stand out for their authentic alternative pop rock music, in addition to being the only musical duo in the competition to perform and earn a chance at the top spot.
“All of the 15 Finalists were selected by a committee of top music industry professionals. Our key criteria was that each finalist needs to have a very real opportunity to take their song and create music that could ultimately be played on the radio, another criteria was the strength of the lyrics and message. We believe, as with the other Finalists, Green Light Morning’s song excels in both categories,” said Mark Liggett, acclaimed and beloved Musical Producer of “The Song.”
