Voodoo Circle’s “Whisky Fingers”
This is the bands Fourth Album and these songs are brilliant. The classic rock influences are all there, you will feel the Colors of the Rainbow, the Shades of Purple, and the undeniable Whitesnake vibe that permeates throughout the entire listening experience. The band shows their amazing talent throughout the album and Alex Beyrodt’s beautifully improvised solos and playing are sprinkled effortlessly on every song. It’s as if he took me on an emotional journey and played each and every note for my listening pleasure. Listen to “Been said and Done” and “Heartbreaking Woman” just to name a couple of my favorites, guitar lines aka Jeff Beck, sheer beauty. There are a few songs here for you Rockers starting with the opening song “Trapped in paradise”, “Medicine Man” and “Devil takes me Down.” This is old school Head Banging Rock n Roll at its best. Then, get ready to bring the lighters out of retirement for “The Day the Walls Came Down” and “The Rhythm of my Heart”. Both are beautiful additions to an already amazing album.
Be sure and listen to my interview with Alex here at Backstage360 to get some further insight into this extraordinary guitarist and his new album “Whisky Fingers.”
Overall Impression: This is a solid Album from start to finish. If you love Classic Rock with substance and beautiful guitar work, then this album was made for you. Buy it NOW! You won’t be sorry!
