The fireworks are the big news this month. Found more concert series in Point Loma and Liberty Station; Del Mar published its concert lineup; and the Twilight Concerts at Spreckels in Balboa Park are back. Bayfest’s Reggae Festival is July 9th. The Pride Festival and Comic-Con are this month. The San Diego Fair ends this month but the races are starting. The lineup for the San Diego Blues Festival on Sept. 10 is out with Billy F. Gibbons headlining.  Lots going on!

San Diego Blues Fest is scheduled for Sept. 10 at Embarcadero Marina Park North. Billy Gibbons & Friends is the headliner this year. Tickets in advance $60, $70 at the gate, limited number of VIP tickets available at $300.

Pre-Covid, the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank fed about 350,000 military and civilian people per month, year-round. During this Covid-19 crisis, they are feeding around 600,000 people each month. Every dollar you contribute provides 5 meals. Please help them feed the hungry in our local communities.
