Out & About – Oct 2020

Happy Halloween! It is Scarecrow, Ghosts and Pumpkin Spice time!

Daylight Savings Time ends November 1, remember to set your clocks back.

A number of venues have booked live music this month, including Pala Mesa in Fallbrook, the Wildwood Crossing in Vista, The Landings in Carlsbad, and the Valley View Casino in Valley Center. Pala Casino is holding outdoor concerts with tribute bands in their Starlight Theatre.  Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center is open too. Details below. Hopefully with enough people wearing masks we can all do our part to keep the economy open for good and with live music too! Gotta have music… While I work hard at being accurate, please always check before heading out somewhere.

The drive-in movies and concerts in Escondido will continue but have been moved to Cal State San Marcos. Details below under the Center for the Arts in Escondido. The Del Mar Fairgrounds also has a drive-in concert series as well as a Drive-thru Scream Zone and the annual Harvest Festival.

Both the Belly Up and The Coach House are livestreaming concerts, here are two free ones:
