Two Concerts in the Garden in San Marcos will be this month, and Summer Grass in Vista. The rest of the summer concert series are on schedule, including Poway, Dana Point, Huntington Beach and Balboa Park. Carlsbad TGIF has 2 virtual concerts left. The Carlsbad Music Festival is this month. The lineup for the San Diego Blues Festival on Sept. 11 has Larkin Poe headlining.

Films will also be shown with a live orchestra performing the musical soundtrack (Rocket Man, Goonies, Star Wars). Surely something will appeal to everyone.
