This is the last month for most of the summer concert series but fear not, there are tons of other events going on. The horses are racing at Del Mar, there is an art walk at Liberty Station on August 2, and Bates Nut Farm is hosting a Summer Food Festival with live music and a craft show on different dates. The Six String Society is hosting a number of events this month including two at Vintana’s Centre and all venues are fully booked. The summer concerts, movies and other events happening tomorrow, July 31, were left in.

Quotes for the moment:
🌞August is the grand finale of summer, filled with sun-soaked days and dreamy nights. Unknown
🦋Less than a month ago, all of August still stretched before us – long and golden and reassuring, like an endless period of delicious sleep. Lauren Oliver, contemporary American author
🌻Breathe the sweetness that hovers in August. Denise Levertov, 20th century British/American poet
💖Everything good, everything magical, happens between the months of June and August. Jenny Han, contemporary American author
💜Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth. Henry David Thoreau, Walden, 19th century American poet and philosopher
As always, feel free to forward this to anyone who may appreciate it. Today, and always, I send blessings of love and laughter to all!! May you all stay safe, healthy and well!
