The Del Mar Wine + Food Festival and Restaurant Week are this month, plus art shows, car shows and a whole bunch of festivals including the Viking Festival in Vista, Adams Avenue and Oktoberfest. The Pumpkin Patch at Bates Nut Farm and in Del Mar will open this month. The first day of autumn is 9/22. It’s the last month for Cruisin’ Grand in Escondido.  A number of Halloween events start in September. Pickleball is new in the Gaslamp streets.
