One of our very favorite indie artists is on the move this summer! San Diego native, transplanted to Los Angeles, alt-rockers, Pullman Standard, are headed out on the road again!
Pullman Standard revisited San Diego on July 2, 2019. An on “repeat” performer every year, at “The San Diego County Fair,” frontman, Timmy Daniels and Pullman Standard, lit up the stage as part of the fair’s “Coors Light Rock On Concert Series.”
As a mostly an original alt-rock band, with a cover tune sprinkled here and there, Pullman Standard knows how to draw in their audience and keep them rockin’ and rollin’ throughout their performances. As a dynamic trio, it is a high energy show with chemistry as Timmy D. loves to interact with his audience and fans. As a long time fan of Pullman Standard, these close encounters with the audience is always my favorite part of the show.
Not surprisingly, I attended the show on July 2nd and struck up a conversation with a 15-year veteran bartender located around the perimeter of the CoorsLight stage. His assessment of Pullman Standard…undoubtedly, some of the finest talent he has enjoyed throughout his 15-year tenure working the fair.
Between local gigs throughout the California southland, podcasts, time in the studio and writing new material, Pullman Standard, takes a break and takes it out on the road. Coming this September Nevada and many parts of the mid-west will be graced by Pullman Standard’s unique and infectious sound.
