Queen Nation

The band Queen Nation is a true tribute to the iconic band QUEEN. It is one of the best performances by a Queen Tribute band that I have seen. Now you have to remember that the Rocman was and still is a huge Queen fan.

Since the death of Queen’s iconic front man, Freddy Mercury, Queen has only done a few shows. The show I caught a few years ago had Adam Lambert fronting the band. So when given a chance to see Queen Nation motivation kicked in and off to the casino I went. Talk about being blown away by the musical genius of this tribute to Queen.

Queen Nation has been featured on AXS TV as one of the best tribute bands in the world. Now we all know how great a performer Freddy was so I was very skeptical about the hype until they came out and I caught my first glimpse of singer Greg Finsley in all his glory. From the get go, I got hit with “Tie Your Mother Down” and was blasted back to the first time I witnessed Freddy sing this classic hit.

I found myself hooked from that very moment and the hits kept coming song after song was just as good. Guitar player Mike McManus Guitar /Vocals has the uncanny ability to channel Brian May the iconic guitarists of Queen and he didn’t miss a trick. The band was rounded out with members Parker Combs on Bass and Peter Burke on Drums/Vocals.
