Sin Circus is a four piece rock band from Washington state featuring members ages 19 to 23. They have a blast on stage performing high energy originals along with a live montage of perfectly played riffs from all your favorite rocks songs from back in the day.
The band was formed in Seattle, WA in 2010. The members come from different musical backgrounds and combine all their favorite elements of classic melodic rock, slamming harmony guitar licks and vocals that bring out your emotions and a pounding progressive drums. They put on an entertaining live show, a result of both having played out 100’s of times and having gone to many concerts.
The members are Derek Unger – Lead Vocals/ Bass, Devon Unger – Guitar/Vocals, Matt Zazula – Guitar, Chase Hite – Drums/Vocals. They have recently released “Chemical Youth” their first CD.
The Unger brothers are the sons of Steve Unger bassist of Metal Church. These boys are not only carrying on the Unger name, but the family line of work. Metal Church is has been around long before these boys were born and is still going strong. If fact, Sin Circus opened a string of sold out shows for Metal Church and Armored Saint recently. While the music is close enough to share a bill, it is much different than the music of MC. Sin Circus is highly influenced by 80’s metal bands such as Motley Crew and Def Leppard. Kiss is also one of their favorite bands and they do a an awesome version of Love Gun.
