When we last checked in with Sugar Fix in the article Sugar Fix – The Sweet Sound of Ambition | BackStage360.com the band was identified as a rising force of Teen Rockers in the Southern California Music Scene.
One year later, in December 2025, that initial spark has been amplified. The band Liv Beall (Vocals), Ryder Beall (Drums), Emma Marshall (Rythm Guitar) , Logan Sonstein, (Lead Guitar), and Sam Marshall (Bass) is riding high on a wave of massive end-of-year successes. Having just performed a set opening for drumming icon Vinnie Appice and his band Sabbath Knights at the Whisky a Go Go, the momentum continues to build as they prepare for a showcase at NAMM on January 21, 2026, at the Anaheim Marriott (10:00 PM).
Behind the scenes, the catalyst for this evolution is the architecture of mentorship team Chris Beall, Drummer (Swerve, Warrant) and Jerry Dixon, Founding Member/Bassist (Warrant). These two seasoned musicians are at the helm focusing intensely on the band’s trajectory. They have been spending countless hours in the studio with the group, meticulously refining their sound, and preparing them for upcoming shows.
Emerging from the Temecula Valley, the band’s ascent is underscored by collaborations in 2025 with respected industry veterans the virtuosic Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), and highly acclaimed Drummer Marco Minnemann. Marco recently featured Liv in a Duet with Kotono in the track Marco Minnemann – Kill The Horror (feat. KOTONO, LIV BEALL and BUMBLEFOOT) – YouTube his latest album, “Team NEKO”. Adding to the excitement of this transformative year, the band was incredibly honored to have a photo session with the legendary. Glen La Ferman. Having their portraits taken by a photographer who has documented so many of their own musical heroes was a surreal and humble milestone for the group.
While their first released single Sugar Fix, My Roman Empire, Official Music Video – YouTube is a staple of their set, the band has been road-testing a play load of six unreleased legit Rock Tracks.
“Cleopatra Moons”, “I Don’t Wanna”, “Forgotten Monsters”, “Love Soldier”, “Nothing’s Worse”, and “That’s Just Me”.
Still balancing their School Life with Band Life, they use every opportunity to write their original music, which has been a highlight of their live shows. We don’t have confirmation of their next release but are hopeful that it will be announced soon.
This past year has proven to be a growing legacy for Sugar Fix. The progression of their Rock sound and live performance is striking-defined by Liv’s expanded vocal prowess, a sharpened dual guitar chemistry from Emma and Logan, and the tight foundation of Sam and Ryder’s rhythm section.
