Fans of hard rock anxiously await the arrival of California’s largest rock music festival AFTERSHOCK. Hosted in Sacramento’s Discovery Park, fans will be treated to three days of music by some of the biggest names on the Rock music scene.
The party kicks off on Friday, October 11 with day one bringing headliner Slipknot to the Monster Energy Stage late Friday Night and the return of Staind. Notable other rockers Friday include I Prevail, Lamb of God, Motionless in White, Beartooth, and Halestorm. Fans of the band Staind will get a first look at their favorite rockers returning after a hiatus that begun in 2012.
Aftershock Saturday features performances from Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and Bring Me the Horizon, just to name a few. The lineup appears to bring something to the party for everyone with 90’s favorite Bad Religion, Fishbone, and Andrew W.K. on the bill that day.
Day three, Sunday, serves up a stellar lineup with mega rockers Korn and Tool as the headliners. Tool fans can expect to see their favorite band performing tracks from their just released 5th studio album “Fear Inoculum.” After 13 years, Tool’s long awaited album arrived at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in August.
Aftershock 2019 takes place October 11th, 12th, and 13th in Sacramento’s Discovery Park located at 1100 Garden Highway, Sacramento California. Gates for the festival open at 12:00 Pm Friday with the closing performance by the band Tool Sunday night at 8:55pm.
