There’s a music podcast called the Dusty Futon on season 6 episode 100. Local Independent Artists coming from So-Cal are invited over to the studio to have a nice little chat about their passion for music. What’s funny is that the studio is SpicyKim’s Condo and sometimes if you are lucky she has snacks and beer. The crew is a funny, quick witted bunch led by Big Jon and Tyler Johnson and SpicyKim is the co-host and executive producer these three characters will talk about anything pertaining to music and make you laugh right from the microphone check. No topic is taboo; I mean no topic is off limits! So, prepare to hear Big Jon dance nervously and try to re-divert the conversation and just eventually go with it! I love this podcast because, its honest straight forward no B.S. about sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll. They cover practically every genre. If you are like me and love back stories about the music, how it was inspired, sometimes in the most unlikely ways you have to check out this show! Recently, the Dusty Futon has been getting artists from ReverbNation and many of the artists are super talents. My personal pick is a young lady named Lindsay White. Her lyrics are so powerful that she had the cast in tears, telling her story. The song is called Rubber Band Gun telling a descriptive story about her Grandfather. If you are a music geek like me, check out Dusty Futon. They are a top quality professional show that should be syndicated. Not kidding these guys are hilarious and you get to hear some bands before they break out big! And it’s a very cool feeling finding music gems before anyone else.

The Dusty Futon Concert Report is a weekly update hosted by Big Jon.  These episodes will be informing the listener what artist episodes are being released next and to outline concerts and shows from Dusty Futon guests along with a short demo of their music.
