One of the funniest and most creative booths this year at NAMM was Ukulele Ray’s. It was both colorful and interesting and had some very cool and all unique instruments. I don’t believe I could do this man justice in a write up but we all know that when you look up Ukulele ray in the Dictionary, that when used as a noun it means: the light that beams from the happy sound of a ukulele; and when used as a proper noun it means: a nut who wears Sgt. Pepper Jackets, plays Beatles songs on uke and turns lunch boxes into ukuleles. Dare I say more? I had a blast at his booth and once you purchase one of his Ukulele’s people will be asking you; where did you buy that beautiful Uke? Check out Ray’s site at www.ukuleleray.com and watch our interview with the man himself.
